Welcome to Lauren Alexandria Art Studio
Born and raised in Georgia, Lauren Alexandria is a contemporary artist whose work is deeply connected to the landscapes, people, animals, and quiet moments around her. A lifelong Georgian, she draws inspiration from the familiar places that have surrounded her throughout her life. While her subject matter varies, she remains inspired by things that make her feel something.
Working primarily in oil and charcoal, Lauren creates paintings and drawings that explore the emotional connection between people and the land they call home. Her work looks beyond the surface of a landscape, and seeks to capture the history, imperfections, and sense of familiarity. She is particularly drawn to the overlooked details of everyday life and the stories held within ordinary scenes.
Her love for animals is an important part of both her life and her artistic perspective. At home, she spends much of her time with her mini rescue family— two miniature horses, two stubborn goats, and an extremely goofy German Shepherd. The daily animal experiences fuel her passion and further her appreciation for the rhythms of rural life that often find their way into her work.
Through her art, Lauren Alexandria hopes to preserve moments that might otherwise go unnoticed and invite viewers to slow down and look more closely. Her paintings celebrate the beauty found in familiar places while embracing their imperfections, offering a glimpse into the resilience, history, and stories woven into the Georgia landscape.
